Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons released their debut album 'The Age Of Absurdity' to the world on the 26th January via Nuclear Blast. Featuring Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell and his sons Todd, Dane and Tyla,
with vocalist Neil Starr. This highly anticipated album follows on from their self-titled EP release and on first listen through I can certainly say it ticks all the boxes for an 80s rock fan. If you like your riffs heavy, lyrics catchy and an element of sleaze thrown in then this album is for you. In other words don't go expecting a Motörhead style classic, they haven't reinvented the wheel. It's just a fair assumption that it won't be to everyone's taste, however I've really enjoyed listening.
